S = Σ luhn(d[i], i) (i=0..7); (S + d[8]) mod 10 === 0
- 1. Pad number with leading zeros to 9 digits.
- 2. Multiply even positions by 1 and odd positions by 2.
- 3. If product > 9, sum its digits (e.g. 14 -> 1+4 = 5).
