About Malaysian Tax ID (TIN)
The Malaysian Tax Identification Number (TIN) is assigned by the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) to identify individual and corporate taxpayers. In the MyInvois framework, the TIN is mandatory on all fiscal transactions.
The Malaysian TIN comprises a tax category prefix followed by 10 to 12 numerical digits. Primary prefixes include: `C` (Companies), `OG` (Individuals with business income), `PT` (Partnerships), and `LE` (Employers).
