About UAE Tax Registration Number (TRN)
The Tax Registration Number (TRN) is the 15-digit VAT identifier issued by the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA), governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax.
With the mandatory UAE E-Invoicing rollout based on Peppol PINT AE (mandate starting 2026), TRNs strictly begin with `100` and are identified in Peppol under ISO 6523 scheme `0231:100XXXXXXXXXXXX`.
