Official SVNR Modulo 11 Algorithm

Calculation defined by the Austrian Main Association of Social Security Institutions:

Sum = Σ(d[i] * w[i]) with w = [3, 7, 9, 0, 5, 8, 4, 2, 1, 6]; P = Sum mod 11 (Remainder 10 is invalid).
  1. 1. Multiply each of the 10 digits by weights [3, 7, 9, 0, 5, 8, 4, 2, 1, 6].
  2. 2. The 4th position (index 3) has weight 0 during verification.
  3. 3. Sum the products and calculate the remainder modulo 11.
  4. 4. The remainder must match the 4th digit exactly.
  5. 5. If the remainder is 10, that sequential number combination is officially discarded.
