Computation Algorithm (Luhn Modulo 10)
Official mathematical rule applied to the first 8 digits:
Sum = ∑ [ (i % 2 === 1 ? DigitSum(dᵢ × 2) : dᵢ) ]; CD = (10 - (Sum mod 10)) mod 10
- 1. Weighting: Digits in odd positions (indices 1, 3, 5, 7) are doubled; if the product is >= 10, its digits are summed.
