Rodné číslo (RČ) is the national birth/personal identification number issued to all Czech citizens and foreign residents in the Czech Republic.

Anatomy & Structure of Czech Rodné číslo
Rodné číslo consists of 9 or 10 numeric digits in YYMMDD/SSSS format:

Official Rodné číslo Algorithm (Modulo 11)
Mathematical rule mandated by Czech legislation:
Full 10-digit number mod 11 = 0
- 1. The first 9 digits form the chronological and sequence base.
- 2. Compute remainder of the 9-digit number divided by 11.
- 3. If remainder is less than 10, the 10th digit is the remainder itself.
- 4. If remainder is 10, the 10th digit is 0 (and the 10-digit number is divisible by 11).
- 5. Gregorian calendar date validity is strictly enforced.
