KvK validation follows the standard test of 11 with descending weights from 8 down to 1:
∑(di × (9 - i)) mod 11 = 0 (for i from 1 to 8)
- 1. Sanitize input by removing whitespace and non-digit characters.
- 2. Validate that the string consists of exactly 8 numeric digits.
- 3. Multiply each digit by descending weights from 8 down to 1.
- 4. Sum the weighted products of all 8 digits.
- 5. Confirm that the total sum is divisible by 11 (remainder zero).
