The Constancia de Autorización de Emisión (CAE) is an official digital authorization granted by DGI that allows registered businesses to issue electronic vouchers within an approved number range for 2 years.

Computation Algorithm (DGI Modulo 11)
Mathematical validation rule for the Emission Authorization Certificate (CAE):
Remainder = ∑(dᵢ × Wᵢ) mod 11, weights [3, 2, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2]
- 1. Weighting: The first 10 digits of the CAE are multiplied by weights [3, 2, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2].
- 2. Sum & Remainder: Calculate the sum of products and the remainder of integer division by 11.
- 3. Special Rule: If remainder is 0, CD = 0. If remainder is 1, CD = 6. Otherwise, CD = 11 - remainder.
- 4. Integrity: The 11th digit ensures authenticity and integrity of the authorized voucher range.
