D-U-N-S Number Validation Rules
Validation enforces strict 9-digit length and non-trivial sequence check:
length == 9 && !/^(\d)\1{8}$/.test(digits)
- 1. Strip spaces and hyphens (standard masked format: XX-XXX-XXXX).
- 2. Verify total length is strictly 9 numerical digits.
- 3. Reject repeated trivial sequences (e.g. 000000000, 111111111).
- 4. Conforming numbers are accepted across Apple Developer and Google Play Console.
