Official Singapore identity document checksum specification:
Weights = [2, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2]; Offset: T/G = 4, M = 3, S/F = 0; Rem = (Sum + Offset) % 11.
- 1. Multiply each of the 7 serial digits by the weights [2, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2].
- 2. Add the products together and add the prefix offset (4 for T/G; 3 for M; 0 for S/F).
- 3. Compute remainder modulo 11.
- 4. Map the remainder to the official lookup letter array.
